Science Road Show

Last week on Thursday, the Year 5 and 6 went to the Science Roadshow which took place at Edendale Primary School. The science roadshow was fun, especially learning about the temperature (and most importantly skipping school for a bit, ha ha)! We also learnt about ice and fire. After a little bit, we played around with science toys which was fun.

Limerick Poem

Today in writing, we wrote limericks. Limericks are funny poems that have 5 lines. So lines 1, 2 and 5 rhyme and 3 and 4 rhyme.

Here's one I made up about someone from Spain:

There was a person from Spain

Who always drove himself insane

He always has fun

He grew a man bun

And smacked himself with a crane.

Cross Country

Yesterday, this is me doing cross country. This year I came first. It was really tiring and everyone ran their heart out but we had a lot of fun. We ran for 2 and a half laps so we had to go down the road, cross the road, come back, go in front of the office, go around the turf, between Room 8 and 9 and run between the library and the toilet twice.
